its not about the bunny, its about the lamb

It's been about six months now since I have been home from Hong Kong, and I only just now feel like my life has started to fall back in to place. Mike and I got to go on a cruise (my first one!) with Norwegian Cruise lines to the Bahamas.

Although it was a work trip for him and he spent most of his time in meetings, I really enjoyed hanging out by the pool. Because it was spring break time, most of the people on the ship were either young spring breakers, or the older crowd here for the conference Mike was there for. Most people were very confused which category to put us in since we were young but not spring breakers. The Best Western conference really took care of us while we were there though paying for lots of upgrades and even leaving us chocolate covered strawberries.

On the way home we stopped for a special treat, skyline chili! My family grew up on this from Cincinnati and there is only one in South Florida, so of course we made a pit stop.

The week after the cruise was pageant week. I signed up for Miss Central Florida hoping to obtain a little extra scholarship money, but all of a sudden there were 5 titles to win and about 24 girls in the pageant. Although I did not place at all, it was a fun experience and I got some extra time with Jayne as well as meeting my wonderful princess, Bella Rose.

Ariel is the luckiest because my grandma was down for a visit for about two weeks and she got to swim around with her. My grandma had never been to Disney World before, so we took her on a little tour of the kingdom.Everyone was the sweetest because she was wearing her first time to Disney button. She got so much special attention, especially during parade. Thanks to those awesome cast members who keep the magic alive.

She even got this super beautiful picture in front of the castle...

But I am absolutely so thrilled she could come.

Ariel was also really excited to go check out all the renovations at Cinderella's Royal Table this week.

Hope everyone has a Hoppy Easter! He is risen!
